• When are the Village Council meetings held and can anyone attend?

  The meetings are held on the first Monday of every month.  Beginning in October 2021, the meetings will move from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  If the first Monday falls on a holiday, then the meeting will be held on the second Monday of that month.

  Council meets at Village Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Owensville, Ohio.
  All are welcome to attend.

• Does the Village supply brush pick-up?

  Yes. Curb-side brush pick-up is available by calling the Village Hall at (513) 732-1171.

  
  Note specifications for brush: must be bundled, less than 25 lbs., and no longer than 6-8 feet long.

• Who do I contact if I have a question regarding my tax bill?

• Who do I contact if I want to rent the Gauche Park Shelter and is there a fee to rent the shelter?

  There is a $65.00 fee to rent the shelter for one day. You will also need to

  fill out a Shelter Agreement with your fee. This form is located under

  Village Forms on our website or you can pick up a form at Village Hall.

• Where do I pay my traffic ticket?

  Village Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Owensville, Ohio

  Hours, Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• When is Court held if I have to appear for my traffic or other violation?

  At the Mayors Court tab on our website, there is a calendar of when Court will be held. Always begins at 12:00 p.m.

• If I have a non-emergency police matter, how do I contact the Police Department?

  You may call the police department at 513-732-1171 and ask to speak to an officer on station or leave a voice mail message and your call will be

  promptly returned.

• Does the Mayor perform wedding ceremonies?

  Yes. The Mayor is legally qualified to perform weddings. You can call the

  Village Hall at 732-1171 and contact the Mayor at

• Who do I call to obtain a public record?

  The Fiscal Officer, Brian Switzer is the custodian of public records for the

  Village of Owensville. You can contact him at 513-732-5350.

• I am having a yard sale, do I need a permit?

  Yes. A yard sale permit may be obtained at Village Hall. Call 513-732-1171. The fee is $5.00 per day. (Note: this fee is waived during the Village Wide Yard Sale (held twice per year)).
